Severe computer issues

My internet is working perfectly fine, but for the past few days whenever I try to load up a game my computer begins to have a heart attack and the game runs at about 15 seconds per frame, though the music works properly. I've checked to make sure that this affects all games and not just games from Steam. In addition to this Youtube videos buffer but refuse to play.

I've restarted my computer, run benchmarks, checked for viruses/malware, even took the whole thing apart, cleaned it, re-seated all my components and put it back together again and none of this has helped me in the slightest. What could possibly be causing this and what can I do to fix it?

I first noticed it in Dark Souls III, but I checked to make sure that it wasn't just an issue with that game in particular. It's happening with all the games on my PC, including non Steam games.

I could do this, but it wouldn't really solve my problem. Without that GPU working properly nothing is going to run smoothly. In addition to this I have nowhere to put my GPU that won't end up with it damaged.

Maybe it would determine if the graphics card was at fault? If your games run better using the onboard graphics from the mobo vs. the graphics card you added, that would tell me the graphics card is going bad or is bad.

Well shit, now I feel stupid. Thanks westeind, that was the issue. It's fixed now.

That's a good point, it would. Though I have already figured out what the problem was (some bizzare issue with the drivers). Thanks for the suggestion though, I'll keep that in mind if I ever come across an issue like this again.
