RAM Cross-Compatibility Issues (No POST)

Hello,
I recently bought a new set of 2 x 4gb RAM and have been unable to get it to work with my current setup.

Specs:
Motherboard: ASRock Z87 Extreme4
GPU: GTX 1070
CPU: Intel 4670k @ 4.2ghz
Old RAM: Corsair Vengeance LP 2 x 4gb (https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233186)
New RAM: Patriot Viper 3 2 x 4gb (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008LTJJM2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)

When I try to boot with the new RAM and old RAM seated together, I fail the post with error 53 (Memory or mobo error). I can boot properly if I use either the new RAM or old RAM, but not both.

I confirmed that all 4 channels work on my motherboard independently. It also appears that the timing and speed specifications for the RAM matches. What gives?

Thanks for any help.

EDIT: Turns out the model of Corsair Vengeance LP I have is actually timed at 11-11-11-30 rather than 9-9-9-24. I imagine that this explains the issues I'm having. Is it still possible to use the RAM together?

EDIT 2: I set the clock timings in my bios to match the slower RAM (11-11-11-30) and upped the voltage to 1.6v. Problem solved!

Solution
Most likely issue is due to incompatibility between memory modules. This often occurs when using/mixing memory modules (from different kits), and even occurs when using modules with the same part number and specifications.

No guarantee of success, try moving modules to different slots.

Increase DRAM Voltage a bit, but don't exceed 1.65 V.

If still having problems then raise System Agent Voltage a bit (also).
