I am currently working on my first build and I am wondering about my case fans that are pre installed. They are connected to a wire with two large pins on the end and it says “do not connect while pc is on”

Just wondering if I should leave them how they are or plug them into a header on my mobo

You should try to plug them into your motherboard. Most motherboards allow you to control fan speeds.
If fans are plugged into the power supply they run full blast.
What you want is the fans to run slow and quiet. Then when the PC heats up they run faster.
