Can a Hyper 212X fit in my motherboard?

Hi. I was wondering if a Hyper 212X will fit in pc

Motherboard Name Gigabyte GA-H97M-D3H
Case: unknowen but its big enough to fit a 1050TI
GPU Gigabyte GTX 1050 TI
CPU i7-4790K overclocked to 4ghz
RAM 16GB (2 8GB sticks)

I don't think you'll have a problem with height clearance, go ahead. If case you haven't bought it yet, consider getting a Cryorig H7 if its about the same price range, it's better

You need to find your case model.

Of course the cooler will fit that board .
Its 160mm high so the question is whether it will fit in your case.

A lot of cheaper cases have 150-155mm restrictions on cooler height.

1. Does it have a 120mm rear fan mount
2. Can you measure the width of the case.

I have reservations about the 212 fitting.

What size is that rear fan mount ??

Measure the 2 outermost screw holes horizontally.

Im guessing you said the back fan mount and from the top screw to the bottom screw was 12 MM I don't know how you ment to measure it so i did it with a ruler and then tried to figure it out

Yeah ,let me know what fan is in there .

The thing is if a case will take a 130mm fan theres a chance the 212 will fit, if its a 92mm fan in there it definitely wont.

Im looking at just the photos of the case from an experienced builders perspective here & thinking personally that case is likely not wide enough for the 212.
Ive seen that case somewhere before though cant remember where.
What cpu cooler are you currently using ??

Stock CPU cooler from intel im pretty sure I reported the spam bot it runs really hot and tips out at 99C thats why i wanted a new one

As Matt said, check how much height clearance you have to be sure and in-case there's a prob you'll have to get a low profile cooler.

A gammaxx 300 is a good compromise.its not far behind a 212 but is only 136mm high.

Ive used them on i5 haswells & seen mid 50s temp wise max so even with that i7 Ive every confidence it would still be below 70c under full load.

Stock intel mounting & pre applied paste make it an easy fit & a decent choice at the right price.
