Hello so should i upgrade my CPU or GPU first so right now i have a GTX 1050 ti and a AMD Phenom II X6 1090T witch is a little worse than the AMD ryzen 3 1200 so i want to upgrade my CPU to a i5 8400 but it would come out to 500+ witch i cant afford right now i only have 300$ in my wallet so right now i get 40-50 frames on pubg and with a ryzen 3 1200 and a gtx 1060 i see benchmarks around 80-90 on medium settings and then i looked up i5 8400 and the gtx 1050 ti to see what my frames will be at and i saw 40-60 so either way im upgrading both but what should i get first?

CPU + Mobo would be my suggestion. Also you would need to get DDR4 memory as your old DDR3 won't be supported in these platforms. 1050 Ti is still good for 1080p gaming. And also, PUBG is badly optimised so don't worry about the frames.

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 3 1200 3.1GHz Quad-Core Processor ($92.99 @ Amazon)

Motherboard: MSI - B350 TOMAHAWK ATX AM4 Motherboard ($77.29 @ OutletPC)

Even squeezed in a good air cooler which will help overclock the CPU better than the stock cooler.

Another option, if you don't want to overclock, you can get a Ryzen 3 1300X which has a base clock that's 0.4GHz bigger than 1200. $13 cheaper than previous build.

Imho, Intel would be better for gaming, it also has an even higher clock speed than 1300X.

Looks good. Only $60 over 300, not bad. And hey, if you wanna drop $10 or more, you can get a bit slower ram, like 3000MHz or slower. Intel ain't picky about ram speed as Ryzen is, so you could save a bit on that.
