Realtek HD Speakers output not showing up and not working

After update to Windows 10 Version 1803 Realtek HD Audio Speakers output and Microphone input stopped showing up in Device Manager.

Only things I see are Realtek Digital Output and Realtek Digital Output (Optical).

I tried obviously removing the driver, using default Microsoft High Definition Audio Device driver, both front and back jacks.

Nothing works.

Here's my setup:
ASUS Sabertooth RX990 R2.0
AMD Athlon FX-8150
16GB DDR3-1866 RAM
Samsung SSD 840 Pro 256 GB
Seagate Constellation ES3 3TB
NVIDIA GeForce GTX680 2GB ASUS
AMD Radeon R9 390 8GB MSI using PCI-E 1x riser

True, I have NVIDIA High Definition Audio Device and AMD High Definition Audio Device showing up.

But that's the thing Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio Device) don't show up at all in Windows 10 settings, but they do show up in Sound control panel as unplugged, even with speakers/headphones plugged into green jack behind.

You will only be able to use one sound device at a time. Your current sound output is the NVidia HDMI output. You can manage multiple sound devices in Windows Control Panel. Your picture shows you have Realtek ready but not selected as default device.

To make a playback device the default:
1.Click on the device in the list under the Playback tab.
2.Click Set Default at the bottom.
3.Choose “Default Device”.

I repeat again - it's grayed out even when the headphones/speakers are plugged in to the jack
It's not disabled either.
So, it doesn't let me set it as default device, just look at the screenshot

I had a similar issue. I could only see NVidia sound in my device manager though. Nothing would work, installing drivers, reset laptop to factory settings. I was going to send it in because I thought it was a faulty sound card or other hardware issue, but I just reloaded the latest BIOS and that sorted out all the issues.

Hi, I'm sorry, I just saw your reply.
So, should I just reflash the latest BIOS even if I already have the latest one?

Let me give it a try.
Thanks for the idea!
