Need help on streaming PC

Howdy! I am currently trying to get a rough estimate on what sort of parts I will be needing to upgrade to be able to have a dedicated Streaming PC.

I currently stream:
PUBG, Fortnite, CS:GO, Rocket League, BioShock.
And any game that pretty much comes up.

Here is my current Streaming PC setup.

So, I am wondering. What will I need to upgrade to make the output of the stream look decent for the games I would like to stream?

Man there's no point in going for a dedicated streaming pc, becuse that card can record and encode pc at the same time. Connect gpu of the main pc to the elgato hdmi in and the out from elgato in hdmi in from monitor. Good luck!

I was told a streaming pc would take the strain on encoding off my gaming rig. So I can play games with no lagg and have decent graphics. While the stream would look good as well.

Again if you have elgato card you can stream from it without adding a burden on pc.

Ahh. That is what you are stating. My fault. I am aware you can stream straight through the card. But I am wanting to put it through OBS.

Okay then if you want to use obs you will need to use the pc because the guys from elgato haven't released the api to let obs use the elgato hardware chip. Best thing to upgrade is the cpu and ram and mobo associated. I recommend a ryzen 7 because from what I've understood it outperforms the i7 in streaming, more core and threads.

Sorry about the confusion. I might need a new Case also. This one might not be big enough for a mobo upgrade. The name of what I have right now is called the hp pavilion 500-223w. I want to say my budget right now is 500-600 dollars.

I don't know what psu you have on the dedicated streaming pc and if it will need an upgrade. If yes then you can take only 4 gigs of ram and buy a newer one. Also I'd wait a little bit for the amd 2000 series which will feature 400 chipset mobos.

I'd recommend you to get at least a 500 watts one.

Alrighty. I am looking at Thermaltakes. Is it worth getting a Gold edition rather than a Bronze? Is it that big of a difference?

Are you a first time streamer? A dedicated one is really only needed if you want to do multi-res. Just one isn't very taxing. You will need some serious internet to upload multi-res.
