Yes...this power supply still widely sold on the marketplace right now with an affordable price for most people, i saw this power supply review from jonnyguru but it was made in 2010, so i wonder is this power supply still good for now and the next few years?

Solution
The S12II is not certified as Haswell ready. It's not an ideal choice for Haswell and later CPU (support for C6/C7 power states). It'll work but there are better choices.

I see no mention of added support on their website. As far as I can tell they never updated them.

I'd go with the "grey" Corsair CX/CXM series (make sure letters are not colored green) as mentioned or Seasonic M12II Evo (make sure it says Evo). Also you can often find competitive prices for Seasonic Focus and Focus Gold. The Focus are top notch PSU. Among the best out there. If you can get one at a good price, do so.

Admirable
Yes, it's a well made PSU, as you've claimed, it's an old unit, but that doesn't imply that's bad.
Seasonic makes great PSU, that one is still very much reliable if you do not have the means to get a newer model.

But, it's good for a certain scenario, as it's, if i'm not wrong, only 520 or 620W, so your PC parts shouldn't go beyond that.
If you're aware of how much wattage your PC will need, you can't go wrong with that PSU.

to be honest I have the same opinion with you, it's just that I read someone's statement who said this power supply is not recommended for now and the next few years because it is an old product and does not compete with other new power supply at the same price range, whereas in fact the power supply is still widely distributed and there are still many people who buy it

Thank you very much
Actually i'm using seasonic focus+ gold, it's just i wonder about S12II because there are still many people who recommend S12II, especially for those who want to build a system but have limited cost for power supply.
