Hi,

I'm having issues with computer. The issue happens during gaming, particularly after something intense happens or prolonged use. The screen will go a light grey/purple colour and I have no option but to manually shut down the system.

I have a SeaSonic 520W 80+ Bronze power supply. My first question is whether the problem is power related? Could my power supply be insufficient for the graphics card?

I have 2 x 4gb Kingston HyperX Fury DDR4 memory sticks. Is 8GB enough RAM?

I'm caught in two minds whether to upgrade to a 750W + power supply or whether to upgrade my RAM to 16gb. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Thanks

Solution
I doubt the problem would be caused by either ram or your PSU. Thats a decent enough PSU and 8gb is enough for most games.

Try clocking the gpu down very slightly by 20mhz and see if it still happens as frequently.
