Advice on new PC build

Hey guys, what's up?
I live in Brazil and will travel to NY on June. I still have an old i5 750 with a gtx 750ti, so I'm thinking of upgrading my build. Since the GPU prices are really high, and I'm on a 800$ budget, I was thinking of buying CPU, Motherboard, PSU and RAM first, along with a cheap GPU so I upgrade it on another ocasion (already have a decent case and 2x 1TB HDD). Right now I've made the following setup:
i5 8600k + Asus PRIME Z370-A (the bundle is 350$ at Microcenter)
Inland Professional 120 GB SSD (30$ at Microcenter, the cheapest SSD I've seen so far, and was thinking of getting it for booting the motherboard)
Hyper 212 EVO (35$ at Microcenter)
Patriot Memory Viper Elite Series 16 GB (153$ at Amazon)
Seasonic S12II 620 BRONZE (49,50$ at Amazon)
Adding taxes, this build is almost at 700$, which leaves me with around 100$ to spend on a GPU. Does anyone have any suggestion which GPU I should get? Or my gtx 750ti can hold on for a little while (around 1-2 years)? Or do you think I could change something from the build I've posted for a cheaper option (I've bought my current PC on 2010, so I was thinking of getting a CPU that will last around 8 years as well), so I have a little more money to spend on a GPU? I use my PC for gaming mostly.
Thank you very much for your attention!
PS: since I'm staying at a hotel, Newegg won't deliver anything.

If you want it to last that long, then use the 750ti for now and get a better GPU down the line...

The extra juice of 8600k is only worth it if you can stretch your budget by selling the current parts you have. Else 8400 is pretty good... https://www.pcgamer.com/intel-i5-8400-review-the-best-new-gaming-cpu-in-years/

If you are going to be in NYC why not stop by B&H Photo there? Their prices on PC components are competitive with Amazon and NewEgg. Often less. You can order online ahead of time and schedule a customer pickup. If anything is out of stock they'll get it for you quickly.

I can't stretch the budget much longer, because of the brazillian import taxes. Basically, anything above 500$ that I bring here I pay 50% of the amount that surpasses 500$. So I limited my budget to 800$ because from these 800, 150$ (50% of 300$) will go as taxes, so I'm in fact spending 950$. So I don't want to spend much money on this trip (I'm probably going to the US again sometime between August 2019 and Janurary 2020) because the adittional money that I spend goes down the drain.

I checked there, but the prices on Amazon and Microcenter are better

But will the 8400 hold on as long as the 8600k? I'm really thinking of picking a CPU that will last for a lot of years. The same goes to the GPU, I bought the gtx 750ti back in 2014 (if I'm not mistaken), and this time I wanted to pick a GPU that will last as long (or longer if possible) as the CPU. My original plan was to pick a cheap GPU now and next year pick either a 1080ti or a vega 56. About the SSD, it has a 5 stars rating at Microcenter, and I digged trough Google and people said it's an OK SSD for the price.

Oh, and also (something I forgot to mention before, my bad) I don't want to get less than 16 GB of RAM, because that's the current RAM I have on my PC.

I love my MicroCenter. Keep an eye on their CPU/motherboard bundle deals (I'm on their email list). That may be your best bet for those two components (they are not competitively priced with NewEgg in other components like PSUs and memory though from my experience). I don't think I've ever bought all components from a new build at one place.
