I am having a problem with my first build. I do understand that I am a "noob". I have saved for some time to rebuild a dilapidated PC. My power supply crashed and I had to replace most of the components since everything was so old. If it helps the components replaced are:

However, I still have the old WD Velociraptor 500G drive. It booted up fine before the power supply died. It did have windows 7 on it, which I am thinking might be the problem since they are not completely supported now, though I honestly do not know (not sure the mobo is supported on windows 7). On the original boot it came up in bios that it could not boot into windows. I clicked F5 to enter the default bios. This allowed it to continue to try and boot windows. Windows will not load stating that there is an error. If you try to repair it cannot. Since I have already saved all of the data from the HD I tried to do a clean install from the windows 7 disc, but it states that my EFI is set up as a MBR and not a GPT. Do I have to do a clean install of Windows 10 to get it to work with the updated equipment? I have done some research, but obviously not enough.
Any help would be appreciated.
