Hi ,i am getting an asus z170 pro gaming aura mobo from a friend with intel 6600k for 200$ . The problem is the on board sound stopped working after an electric surge in my friends room. i will very much like to know if the mobo will work fine or it other components will be affected too later on . the motherboard works fine for about 5 months now but i am just wondering if there is a way to fix it or if it will affect other parts in the future
