Odd internet connection issues.

I brought my desktop back to university after a long weekend at home. The previous week, the desktop worked fine, over the weekend it was fine, but upon returning whenever I seem to load anything CPU intensive the internet slows to a crawl.

I load into CSGO and the games drop. I load into Hollow Knight then tab out to play my podcast and my internet has slowed to a crawl, PUBG, Overwatch, Runescape, offline Minecraft. All of these games cause my internet to crash.

I've uninstalled my drivers, reinstalled them, tried changing the settings many times to different things. Nothing has worked.

However, sometimes it just does work and I don't understand it. Eventually on Sunday night and Last night the internet began to work and I cannot figure out why.

I can turn my mobile phone into a WiFi hotspot and aside from horrific ping (somewhat bad signal in my house) the connection is rock solid.

This morning there are issues again which I desperately need fixed. My plan so far is to take my rig home and test it on my WiFi there, factory reset it if that still has issues, and then finally return the computer.
