Which 120gb SATA SSD should I go for?

Solution

For the OS drive, none of them.
120GB is right on the edge of TooSmall. Look for a 250GB or larger.
Just to add to USAFRet's answer, 120 GB was tight but could be made to work with Windows 7.

With Windows 10, Microsoft is releasing two major updates each year. These aren't rolled out as patches - they come out as entirely new Win 10 upgrades. Your original Windows folder is renamed to Windows.old, and the updated Win10 is installed in the new Windows folder. The Windows.old folder is kept around for 10 days in case you have problems and want to roll back the update.

A working C:\Windows folder is pushing 40 GB, and the last Windows.old folder I had was 22 GB. So right there you've used up more than half of a 120 GB SSD. Add in an 8 GB pagefile and 8 GB hibernate file, and the 20% space you want to keep free on a SSD to maintain performance, and you're at 102 GB. 120 "GB" is actually 111 real GB (GiB, or 1024^3 bytes). So you're left with just 9 GB for programs and user files. Less if you turn on System Restore like I recommend.

Get a 250+ GB SSD.
