Trying to ask why my "LAN Settings" button unclickable

Yes and while i've been waiting for people to answer i've look at people fixing the problems now i'm stuck.when I open the "LAN Setting" there's an option
Automatically detect setting
Use automatic configuration script
And use proxy server for your LAN
The problem is it's checked on the use proxy server when I unchecked it and checked the automatically detect settings.when i press ok and look back it return back into normal (meaning it's not saved) i'm sorry for asking too much but can you help me

Unless you are actually using a proxy server, you leave all three check-boxes unchecked, then click 'OK'.

Well now,the problem is that i don't use a proxy i use my wifi,and from the internet i saw that you have to leave the"use proxy server" one uncheck and make sure you check the auto detect one.can you guys help me.the settings in the"LAN Settings" can't be changed do you guys know how to make it changeable(plus i'm already an administrator)
If you can't change it there is a problem. There was malware that used to do stuff like this. Even if you remove the malware it did not clean this up. I saw posts of people having to manually edit the registry to fix it. I never had the issue so I can't say what the details are.
