My internet keeps disconnecting very frequently. I also get the message "TWCU: failed to load library file" everytime I boot up my computer. The strange thing is that it never disconnects while I am playing a video game. If I'm playing a game like overwatch for an example: If I'm just in the menu screen then my internet will often disconnect, but if I am in a match then it will never disconnect. If I am in a discord call with someone then my internet will not disconnect. If I'm just browsing the internet or watching a youtube video then it will disconnect. The internet works well on my phone or on my laptop, no disonnects there, it is only on my desktop computer this will happen. It's very strange. How do i fix this?

I opened cmd and wrote in ping <my ip adress> and got this answer:

EXTRA INFORMATION:
PC specs (built):
gtx 1060 gpu
i7 4790k cpu
8gb ram
750w psu

Operating system: Windows 10. My USB model is compatible with windows 10.
Internet provider: Telenor (Norwegian company).
USB Model: TP-Link ARCHER T4U AC1200 Wireless Dual-Band USB 3.0
Devices connected to my router: My phone, laptop, my mothers laptop and phone, my ps4, the tv, my desktop computer. It is still only on my desktop that disconnects are an issue.

NOTE: I have replaced the USB with another that is the same model and the issue still persists, so I do know that the issue can't be that the USB is damaged in any way. This was not an issue when I first got the USB, everything worked fine then. This is a problem that has slowly gotten worse over time and now it's really bad (often disconnects every 5-10 minutes).

Does your computer connect to the router by wired or wireless?
You should log in to the router, see if there is a restriction in the router.
router login's problem can visit: http://www.192-168-1-1.co/
If you can not find restriction setting, you can reset router to factory setting.

The error you are getting at start-up is because the TP link wireless client utility library is failing to open. This is a common problem with this utility in Windows 10.

I assume this is a PC that was upgraded for free to Windows 10 from either Win 8.x or Win 7?

First I would go to TP link's support page and see if there is a newer version of the utility. If there is, then uninstall the old version and install the new version.

If there is no newer version then check out this thread: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-start-winpc/twcu-failed-to-load-library-file/439e21ce-3974-4221-b68a-9fb1872e1567

At the bottom of the 2nd page someone mentions running the TP link wireless client utility in compatibility mode. Try that since it seems to fix the problem for the users that posted in that thread. Another user suggested uninstalling the utility and then reinstalling the utility by running the installer in compatibility mode.

It's also a good idea to make sure your router has the newest available firmware installed.

I looked for a newer version of the utility and all I could find was this page:
Thank you so much for the answer! :)
I uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled them just now. Now the tp-link program will open (it shows my internet and status and all that). I still keep disconnecting and when I click on the tp-link icon it says "archer t4u not connecting". I have two different archer t4u's but i'm still getting disconnected with both of them.
