Hi guys, by the end of month im geting my new pc. Ill get ryzen 5 1600 and i plan to oc it somewhere between 3.6 and 3.8(whatever gives me 60 fps on bf1 mp).So there are few coolers that seems fine for me, and i want to know if some1 can tell me which one is best.
First ----COOLERMASTER MasterLiquid ML240L RGB
Second---- CORSAIR Hydro Series H45
Third----NZXT Kraken M22

Solution

All 3 are very good coolers, The Corsair H45 or the CoolerMaster Masterliquid would be my first choice. The second gen Zen+ just launched, and they overclock much better so I would push you towards the second gen chips over the first gen, but generally a single radiator AIO is plenty to handle overclocking a 1st generation Ryzen chip since 4ghz is a lucky number...

There are a bunch of very good tower coolers, and air cooling eliminates the threat of a leak in the cooler. Not to mention they're are usually cheaper, and some are quieter that some liquid coolers. Although, it depends on your case, if its a smaller mid tower or SFF case, a big tower cooler won't fit.

Reason i didnt add any good air cooler is bcs if i spend more than 50dollars on cooling i want it to be liquid cooling(just because it looks very very beautifuly).Air coolers are too big and arent very fine aesthetic(just my opinion).Case im choosing between are COOLERMASTER MasterBox Lite 5 RGB, nzxt s340 or corsair carbide 100r.I know price is very different between these cases

There are actually some very nice looking tower coolers for a lot less than 50 dollars. And some even out preform decent AIO liquid coolers for cheaper.

I am i little dissapointed in myself for doing this, but yea i want nice looking pc.I know that for 70dollars i can get much better air cooler but i want something that looks nice. I want to get rid of this fcking pc from 2008.For 70 dollars maybe i could get noctua air cooler, where i could get probably 5 degrees celsius temp different, but i dont mind it that much because i wont oc it much and my room is not hot(by that i mean temp isnt more than 20)

A $50 air cooler will outperform a $50 120mm aio.

That's a simple fact that cannot be denied

The gammaxx 400 is not a $50 cooler , its a $25 budget cooler that performs very very well for it's price.

I agree aesthetically a water block is a lot more aeathetically pleasing , there are so many things that can go wrong with an aio though.

The only thing that can go wrong with a tower cooler is the fan which is easily replaced.

I also agree on the fact that noctuas (all of them ) are downright fugly.

I paid £35/$45 for a silentium fortis malik custom.

Thats a cooler that will perform on par with a budget 240mm aio fairly easily.
Its also far from ugly imo.
