I do a lot of gaming as well as recording & editing videos for YouTube and streaming to Twitch. Right now my CPU is at 90% usage when I edit video. I'm wondering if I really need to spend close to $1K for a major upgrade, or if I could just upgrade the CPU. Would the i7-4790K be enough of an upgrade?
This is my current build:
CPU: Intel - Core i5-4440 3.1GHz Quad-Core Processor
Motherboard: ASRock - H97 PRO4 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
Memory: Kingston - HyperX Fury Black 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory

Any options/feedback would be great.
**Edit** I should also say that I need to keep the 16GB of RAM and I will be upgrading to 32GB as soon as I can afford it. If I do a full upgrade, how well would this work? I would just be replacing the CPU,MoBo, RAM & adding a CPU cooler.
