So the budget has got to be less than $2,000, but prefer closer to $1,200, less if possible,
I want the best value for the money and utility:

I'm looking for an i7 build that will be a stable workhorse for 5-8 years with no bottlenecks

  • ■It will be used for General business, 2d art projects, some 3d modeling - gaming is plus too.
■Plain ATX case is fine (no showy lights, no water cooling, just good enough airflow).
■ssd only ( whatever normal size is now and of very good quality and speed)
■dual monitor setup - good value, resolution, size.
    ■No overclocking, no raid.
Thanks for your help and ideas in advance,

Solution
I missed a couple things you requested in my first post. Here's a revised build list. It's really difficult to guage what you mean by "no bottlenecks" considering any system will have a bottleneck depending on what you are doing. For instance, if you are gaming much I'd go for a GTX 1070 8GB for future purposes.

I included high-quality parts such as PSU, case, and fans and also a blu-ray optical drive. I'll work on a build list that has more budget friendly parts and exlcudes the optical drive so you can see the price difference.
