So i bought a H50 Aio because I was gonna upgrade to an i5 7600k but then i wanted a ryzen instead and since i havent bought a mobo for intel yet i figured i could just return the cooler but it turns out newegg is gonna charge me 20 dollars to return it so i want to know if the H50 will good enough for a stock clock 1600x

The h50/55/60 have almost identical performance to a CM hyper212 evo. They are all 140-150w coolers. The problem with the h50 is its age, it's one of the older designs along with the original h60, so any bugs in the pump/hoses are still there, they were pretty much fixed with the h45/55. Almost all h50 now are NOS so there's a chance it's been sitting on a shelf for a while.

I'm running an h55 on a i5-3570k (74w) at 4.3GHz, 24/7 for 4 years. On Prime95 small fft I get 70°C after 1 hr torture. Gaming loads have never exceeded 54°C, except when it's dirty.
Hyper212 gets @ the same numbers, the Cryorig H7 gets slightly better, at a better noise footprint.

A 65w Ryzen, even under OC values won't see much difference either to the Intel 74w +OC values.

Oh, as for noise, at idle the only way I can tell if the pc is running (CM 690 II Mesh case) is looking for the hdd/power leds, and at gaming loads the gpu (really quiet asus gtx660ti @124%OC) is louder than any other fan in the case. So if that isn't a loud cooler, I dunno what is. Also have an i7 on a nzxt Kraken X61, that's dead silent too, only runs @6db(A) louder than a Noctua NH-D15. It's called fan curves, not everybody runs a cooler at max fan speeds.
