(Packet Tracer) Cannot access config on firewall

Hi guys, currently doing a project in packet tracer and I need to include a firewall in my network. I've placed the 5505 ASA1 firewall between my switch and router, which I think it is where it belongs.

The problem I am having is that I cannot access the config mode as it is protected by a default password which I have not set and I am unable to guess what it is (tried Cisco, Admin, Password and the other obvious ones).

I've tried connecting it using a console cable to a PC but it is also unable to access it without a password.

I'm either being really dumb and missing something really obvious, or there's something weird happening.

Thanks for any advice you can give!

You have to ask whomever set that password.
We can't help you get around that.

I'm having the same problem on my version of packet tracer on my personal computer. Nobody has set any passwords.

Just to clarify, I'm not talking about hardware. I'm asking about the virtual firewall inside of packet tracer.

Glad to help. Good luck with the Cisco course work!
