SSD - Incorrect Brand, Model, and Storage.

I just built my first gaming PC and I went to check the storage and the brand model and storage of the ssd are incorrect. I have a 2TB Samsung 960 Pro and It is showing up as a Sandisk 128 gb ssd. I originally accidentallly installed an HP OEM version of windows, and the PC It was from has a Sandisk 128 gb ssd (which made me think this might be because of the hp version of windows). I re-installed a proper copy of windows 10, during which I deleted all existing partitions, but the ssd information is still incorrect. All other hardware information is correct. I have tried removing and re-inserting the ssd, and also removing the cmos battery. I am have been unable to "safely" wipe the drive with the Samsung specific ssd software, because the software recognizes the ssd as a sandisk. I have zero idea what to do...

Return to vendor to get the SSD you actually ordered and paid for.. I saw reviews on Amazon indicating this happening. Other vendors may be affected as well. The PCB for the 960 is black. If you have a green PCB you def have a fake. Other fakes identify as liteon drives.

I am 100% sure that it is authentic[/strike], it is the right size, pcb color, and chip layout. I bought it from the official samsung vendor on amazon. Also the San disk drive would be a different shape and chip layout and would be green.

Update: I saw that happen once for another buyer from the same seller, I will contact Samsung.

Update: In the examples the board was green though, could it have been colored grey/black?

Update: It is clearly a Samsung 960 Pro pcb.

UPDATE: I NOTICED THAT ON MY SSD IT HAS A B & M KEY CONNECTOR (SO DOES A SANDISK 128gb) BUT, A 960 PRO HAS A B KEY CONNECTOR... THIS IS A VERY CONVINCING FAKE SSD THE CONNECTOR WAS THE ONLY INDICATIOR. THE SSD CAME IN THE PROPER SAMSUNG PACKAGING. THE PCB AND ITS LAYOUT LOOK IDENTICAL TO A 960 PRO. BEWARE!!!
