Razer Kraken Pro V2 vs Razer kraken 7.1 v2

Hello I am in need of a gaming headset. I would like a Razer Kraken but I do not no which version to go with. Either the kraken pro v2 or the kraken 7.1 v2. I am wondering if the 7.1 surround sound is worth the extra $30?

I own a pair of Kraken 7.1 v2 USB and like them a lot. They are a marked improvement over the previous gen Kraken (which I also owned). Is the virtual surround worth it? To me personally, I say yes. Your mileage may vary. Here's a comparison for you:

Edit: As a secondary note, the Pro is connected via an analog 3.5mm connection whereas the 7.1 v2 is a USB digital plug. The Pro would probably allow you to listen to anything that utilizes that 3.5mm plug.

I’ve personally owned both and to be completely honest the 7.1 isn’t very comfortable at all to wear for long periods of time, but I personally would never buy a headset without surround sound again so I wouldn’t recommend the pro v2 either.

The man o’ war is much comfier but also triple the price :/
