In my build I have 2 ddr3 4GB RAM that have this strange error that happens and fix itself alone with no apparently reason.
A few years ago I bought my second stick of RAM from the same place I bought the one in my build, they have the same serial number and everything, they should be Identical, but they aren't( the most recent oneis a little bit thinner, but I don't think that matter).
Although both sticks and all my Mobo RAM slots are working perfectly fine, from time to time for no reason when when I put my windows on sleep mode, it won't comeback unless I clear CMOS, and after that 4GB of RAM get marked as hardware reserved.
This thing already happened around 5 times since I bought my new ram 2 years ago, and this error usually gets fixed when I tweak a some RAM config on the Mobo or Windows (like changing boot options on msconfig, setting no paging file on advanced system settings, changing some stuff on the regedit or changing my mobo to channel interleaving mode). All the times this issue happened changing one of these configuration made everything comeback to normal, although I don't know why ( sometimes even tweaking the setting wouldn't work, but reverting it afterwards would fix the issue, which is really strange).
I'm using AMD so there's no integrated video card, and again, all sticks and slots are working fine.
I'm it's a timing problem since both sticks aren't exactly the same, and on the bios configuration some timing settings aren't equal for both sticks, but I don't know if I should do anything about that
Thanks and sorry for the long post, it's a kinda strange error for me.
