computer shutting down

my computer will shut down when playing certain games and when i watch video when i restart the computer i get error code no vga detected and the screen doesn't come on until i restart again

i have been running this system since 2013 without issue but now i dont know what causing the shutdown if its overheating,video card going out or something else all together
