I'm looking to build a pc for about £1000, I really just play games my favourite series being total war. Unsure whether to go ryzen or not. I'm looking to build asap. Thank you for any advice.

Thank you, I going to go for the 2600x instead, just wondering what motherboard I should get with it. Motherboard are the part that really confuse me so many different price ranges and option lol! I would like a decent one. Thanks :)

I will try and guide you by asking some questions.
Are you planning to overclock?
Do you need RGB LED controller?
Do you want a small form factor case?
Do you want build in Bluetooth or wlan modules?
USB Type C connectors?

You can go with a ASUS Prime A320M board if you want to shave off some dollars from your budget.
