Yo there my question about power supplies.

When i turn on my pc the pc turn on for like a second and then turn off so i was wondering about trying to change the power supply but the problem is i got a power supply but my old one is 220v and 500w/my new PSU that i got is 230v / 550w can i put it on my pc ,is it fine or something will cuse problems.

Please state full specs of your pc and exact make and model of both PSU's.

Cpu G3260 Pentium Inteli guess , 8gb ram , windows 7 64bit , graphics card GT 730 ,old power supply AC INPUT 2230va,50Hz.5A. DC OUTPUT +12V1/22A ,+12V2/22A ,+3.3V/27A, +5V/26A, -12V/0.3A , +5VSB/2.5A. Combined Wattage MAX 470W ,
MAX 140W , MAX 490W ,500W , 3.6W , 12.5W. The power supply i got is : Boxter , P-4 550W ATX12V 775 20+4 PIN

As long as the PSU has PFC or Power Factor Correction, it should be fine. Modern PSU's take care of power change themselves.
Anyway, I tried looking up your PSU on Google and all I got was Porsche Boxster. This just means it's a shady power supply from a shady company and I wouldn't trust it at all. I'd buy an entirely new PSU from a reputable brand, such as Corsair, EVGA, Super Flower, SeaSonic, be quiet!, Thermalthake.
A 450W PSU would be completely enough for your system, a Corsair CX450M would be a nice option. Or a SeaSonic S12II or M12II Evo Edition - both 520W (480W on +12V rail).

Thanks , the psu was working fine so i think the pfc or power are fine anyway i will try to switch today thanks.

Oh yea i forgot to mention that i have another psu 450W model: ATX -450 , MAX OUTPUT POWER IS 450W , INPUT 115Vac , 10A MAX , 60Hz , 230Vac , 5A MAX , 50Hz. OUTPUT +12V/20A MAX , +5V/40A MAX , +3.3V/28A MAX , - 5V/0.8A , +5VSB / 2.0A MAX
