Hi,

so I've been having a problem where my pc suddenly plays a USB disconnect and reconnect sound. This happens like every 5 seconds. I thought it was my KB, headset or mouse but when i removed all 3 it still made the USB dc,rc sound (there was no other usb connected to my CPU.) But today when i kept my radeon settings open, as usual my pc played the usb dc,rc sound and what i noticed was that the eyefinity tab in the radeon settings disappeared and reappeared. I am convinced that eyefinity is what's causing that sound. So now i need to uninstall it but can't find help anywhere. I've seen posts on how to disable it by going to eyefinity tab--> advanced setup. But when i click advanced setup i get an error saying "Radeon additional settings cannot be started. There are currently no settings that can be configured using radeon additional settings." So i need some help to uninstall eyefinity or some way to disable it from toggling that annoying sound. I really need some help because when eyefinity keeps disconnecting and reconnecting, I get a black screen and my KB and Mouse stops working. I can barely move my mouse sometimes. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Also there is a "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)" in my USB controllers tab. And I am sure that it's not the mouse,KB or headset. Hope this helps.

Edit : ok so here's the thing. I did a clean reinstall on my graphic drivers. My card is Saphire Radeon RX 460 2GB. I removed the previous drivers with DDU hoping that it would remove eyefinity. So today i installed the latest drivers (18.3.4) and the problem is still there. But today i noticed that a 2nd non-existent monitor is what's causing all this trouble. I kept my screen resolution tab open and i could see there is a 2nd display that keeps connecting and disconnecting. It's called "Generic Non-PnP Monitor". So i tried disabling it in Device Manager which did not help. I also tried uninstalling it. It disappeared from the list but it keeps coming back. By the way my cpu is connected to a TV and not a monitor. Ive never connected a second monitor or a TV before. This problem started appearing out of nowhere. Can someone please help me with this. I can barely do anything in my pc with this problem.

I hope i don't bring you false help with a notification, but the exact same issue started happening to me as well. I'm using an RX 480 and the issue started suddenly. If i get any updates or info i'll see if i can extend it to you :)
