So I recently got a dell optiplex 3010 mt (the biggest one) and I wanted to upgrade it to play pubg or fortnite so I thought of getting a EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 SSC GAMING

, and I was wondering if it would fit or if with the original psu the graphics card would run without a problem...
I have a budget of 150 and I was thinking that other option could be buy a gt 1030. What should I do?

My specs:
i5 3470
8gb ram ddr3
1tb wd hdd
Psu 240w

Solution
The stock PSU will be fine. the Optiplexes have a low CPU power limit <95W usually so the PSU can be smaller and work OK. The MT size doesn't have a PCIe reduced power so the 1050 series w/o the 6 pin PCIe cable can run OK. I'm running one in my Optiplex 380 with a Dell Opti PSU.
be sure that card doesn't need a 6 pin PCIe. Some of the OC versions need that. Most others don't.
