I had my pin straightened on my 8core cpu and now, using some cpu software I can see that only 4 of my cores are working. There is also a major decrease in fps and performance in general. Is it possible that the pin is still not working or not working fully or is it something else that's causing the issue?

Solution
Yes it is very possible. There are specifications for the processor socket contacts...both mechanical and electrical.

When a pin gets bent...you are already out of wack with the mechanical specs....and this can cause the electrical specs to become out of wack.

When you bend it back...you MIGHT get it acceptable...you might not.

It could very well be that it's not acceptable.
