Solution

Sure a GTX 1050 Ti would be a great upgrade. It's about five steps up on the GPU Hierarchy. It would be a big improvement. There's no such thing as a bottleneck free system. Some component will always be a limiting factor. I'd consider a GTX 1060 6GB to be the best balance for your CPU at 1920x1080. As there should be a good balance of games where one or the other is the limiting factor.

Any graphics card is likely to be the bottleneck for at least some games. You have an adequate CPU for even the best graphics cards.
A GTX1050 is about twice what you have now. GTX1060 is about twice that. For 1920x1080, either is probably OK - but you will be able to play more games with the faster card.

If you want a better idea of gameplay framerates of a specific combo. For popular games you will likely find gameplay footage along with an FPS counter. The GTX 1060 6GB certainly looks ideal.

The Ryzen 5 2400g is about equal to a Ryzen 5 1500x.

If you are trying to play PUBG, I suggest a 1060 6GB over a 1050ti, PUBG is a decently demanding game. 1050ti is good for Fortnite.
