I installed my brand new Corsair CX650M today. At first I didnt notice anything. I played games for 3-4 hours and when I got my headphones off I noticed a weird sound. At first I tought they were from fans. I put my fingers in every fan possible (lol) but the sound was still there. My pc didn't have anything opened. Only discord and a few other things but not games. Is this coil whine? It's not annoying but I just know there is a strange high pitched sound. Help.

I think PSU makes a high pitched noise.

It's not harmful. You could always RMA for coil whine with Corsair PSUs but if it doesn't bug you no use doing that.
UPDATE: I noticed it doesn't do the sound when it's on load. When I start my pc there's no sound. After 10 minutes it starts to make the high pitched sound and after an hour or so it stops. I was just browsing the web and it started doing it. Are we sure it's coil whine?

I can't think of anything else it'd be. I highly doubt it'd be something like a capacitor since the PSU is new.
