My friend built his computer but it wouldnt boot. So in order to test to see if it was the ram that was the problem I got one of my corsair vengeance lpx ddr4 (2x8) ram sticks out and tested it out on his mobo but it still did not post. So when I put it back into its original mobo it my started up fine all the parts were working but the pc wont boot. It works fine with the untouched ram but when i add the second one it doesnt. The msi ez debug feature on my mobo flashes when i have the second ram stick in. Please help me out if you can.

Are you putting it back in the same slots as before? You may have a dead slot that you where not using before.
Also try a quick blast of air to clean any dust out of the ram slots.

Try using the "dead'" stick in the working slot to narrow down the issue

Sorry, I was just being stupid; it worked after I reinstalled the ram, and clicked the bios button. It was just an issue with the bios warning me that the amount of ram changed, and if I wanted to reconfigure anything. Though I don't know why it wasn't displaying the warning on screen; which was what panicked me in the first place because it wasn't showing anything. I paranoid, and made this post with haste before I tried anything that might worsen the condition. Once again, I am sorry for panicking and making a post over something so simple. Thank you to everyone that read and responded to my post. Have a good day :)
