Graphics card compatibility for g31mx mother board

Hi there..
I have g31mx motherboard and my friends are saying that the motherboard does not support any graphics card..i want to install gt 730 on it..does it support gt 730??
My pc specs are
Foxconn g31mx motherboard
2gb ddr3 ram
Intel core 2 duo e4300 1.83ghz
500gb hdd

I have used a HD6670 on a Pcie 1.1 x16 slot and it ran fine. All you need is a Pcie x16 slot to install Gt730 and your motherboard has one.
