Faulty PSU or GPU or something else?

Hey,

So I can't play high-end games properly. If I try to play a game like Far Cry 5, it just crashes within 2-3 minutes of play time to Desktop with no error given. I've tried multiple things and there is no change. I'll leave my specs below and things I've tried already.

CPU: i5 4690k (Hyper 212 EVO Cooler) (Not OC)
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming (Default stuff)
MOBO: MSI Gaming 3 Z97
PSU: Corsair VS650W
RAM: HyperX 2x4GB 1866Mhz

Things I've tried:
* DDU Drivers
* Latest/Rollback Drivers
* NVIDIA Control Panel Debug Mode
* Cleaned PC/Took out every part inside and put it back together.
* Checked 12v on BIOS. Showed 11.8
* Reinstalled the game(s) no change.
* Kept my eye on the heat, can't be that as it doesn't even get to anything "scary".

What I would like to know is what could be the issue? I've been trying to solve it for like 3 days now and I've found nothing. Please help

The vs series is a poor psu series. It's meant for office pc's and whatnot not for gaming rigs. It can work but I wouldn't be suprised that the 970 is too much too handle. Many people have had this problem with a vs series psu before (this forum is full of posts having crashing in builds with this series and a lot use the vs650).

Have you tried a clean install?

3 days? What happened 3 days ago?

How hot does your GPU and CPU get? Real time please.

stopping or alt+tabbing out won't offer true result.

Hello!

Answer to your questions:

1) 3 Days, I started looking more into this how could I fix it.
2) Was able to play like 5-8 minutes, here is what I got https://i.imgur.com/z2yYqo0.png
3) I think you can find that on the screenshot
4) Somewhere half of my GPU so like 2GB.
5) RAM useage was around 3GB if I'm right
