Is It Worth Upgrading?

I currently have a Ryzen 3 1200 on an MSI B350M Gaming Pro and am thinking about buying a new CPU and motherboard. I have my sights on the Ryzen 5 2600 and an X470 Aorus Gaming 7 Wifi. My question is if its worth it or not? I definitely want to upgrade, but is it worth buying the R5 2600, or should I just go for the R7 2700?

Solution
Depends on what you plan to use it for. Just for gaming, 2600 would be my choice. 2700 only if using it for something else that can use all those cores effectively. And of course you don't have to swap motherboard, 2600/2700 needs just BIOS update on your current motherboard. Of course X470 will have additional features your current board may not have, so you may do the swap if you want - but you are not forced to.
