Hi,
I've been getting this white flashing underscore on a black screen when trying to boot. I didn't change anything particular on my system, it just happened when turning it on one night.
I have brought my motherboard, CPU and Ram to a repair shop to get it checked but it booted no problem on bios(no drives plugged). I tried clearing CMOS, unplugging everything unnecessary like graphics card, SSD, HDD, network PCI Card but I'm still getting the same screen. I also tried with another PSU.
Checking dozens of similar threads didn't help isolate the problem unfortunately.
Do you guys have any idea of what is going on and how to fix it?
Edit: Just realised I forgot the specs:
Intel core i7 4970k
Gigabyte Z97x gaming 3
MSI gaming 1070 8G
EVGA 850g2 (also tried the bequiet! 530W bronze)
