Suggestions for a gaming headset

Hello,
I've been searching alot lately for good budget gaming headsets and I cant decide which ones I should get and if I should get a stereo or a 7.1 virtual surround headset.
So here is the thing I only play LOL and CS:GO and I would like hearing footsteps or where the shots are coming from (CS:GO) so do I need stereo or 7.1 surround and which headphones are the best for under 100 dollars.

The Sennheisers are too expensive for me and I still don't know if i should get stereo (the hyperx cloud you suggested) or 7.1 surround headsets.

No NEED for 7.1 unless it's a surround system. You're only dealing with 2 speakers.

Can you explain more? This is going to be my first gaming headset so I don't really understand.
Just read about 7.1 surround being better for gaming and especially CS:GO.
