addind old sata drive to Gigabyte SKT-AM3+ 78LMT-USB3 Motherboard

Solution
Sorry, you aren't making a lot of sense in your posts. I get that you have a Gigabyte SKT-AM3+ 78LMT-USB3. What drive are you trying to add? Model number will work fine. What makes you think you can't add it? I have 4 drives in my PC, I used to run 6 I think. As long as you have the SATA ports it should be fine.

? You have 2TB IDE drive? I find that super hard to believe. IDE drives haven't been made in a very long time. ~500GB would be the max size I'd believe.

If it's just a SATA drive it you should be able to just plug it in and use it. Why wouldn't that work?
