recently i bought gtx 1080 im using it with 4690k 4.0ghz my question is surprisingly im not seeing any bottleneck from the games i play like pubg or rainbow6 even when i play witcher 3 most of the times gpu running %100.i thought gpu running this high means there is no bottleneck.also im getting 60-110 fps when playing pubg i though gtx 1080 is more powerfull than this.resolution is 1080p.did i get all the bottlenech thing wrong ? i am not limiting my fps btw but like i said max fps is 140ish playing pubg and gpu is almost %100 most of the times.

:) They are wrong. Even my 1080 Ti will have trouble keeping 60 fps at 4K with all games.

If you opt for a 1440/ 2560 x 1440 known as 2K by some, your CPU load will be reduced. Yes, there will be a fps decrease so a 75Hz 2K monitor is what I recommend.

That's normal. I have the same CPU. If I were to play something like Ashes of Singularity(cpu intensive) or Witcher 3(more GPU) at 1080p and then 1440p I would see my fps decrease but as a consolation the CPU load would decrease.

I don't think you are running into a bottleneck with your processor. I see this question often. If your quad core processor is running at 4GHz or more, I can't believe that you are bottlenecked. Plus if you are worried, you can likely overclock the processor higher than 4.0 GHz.

the thing is i was thinking buying a new 2k monitor but i was disappointed after seeing the fps at 1080p so it will be much worse at 1440p.i thought something might be wrong because everyone says 1080 can run games at 60 fps at 4k
