I installed a new motherboard (the ASRock z370 killer) and a i7-8700k today. When i got the pc up and running, my headset is not being detected.
So, I went onto the webpage for the motherboard and looked at the drivers, all of the drivers are for windows 10, but I am on windows 8. Is this the cause for the failure to detect my headset?
I also tried to update the realtek drivers but they were up to date.
