What's fastest for video Editing: an FX600 or an i5 3570K?

I've been wondering cause I want the best processor for video editing between these two.

Any help appreciated.

If you mean the fx 6300, the i5 is faster. Oc, the i5 is even faster.

Here is our sister site's review of the 6300. The above is correct, the 3570K is faster.

You'd have to move up to the 8320 or 8350 to pass the 3570K.

Are you planning to buy one or the other?
If so, don't. Buy something 3 generations newer.

If you already have one of them...that is the fastest one you have available.

If you have two systems, with one each, test and show us the results.

For a generic reply...the 3570 is 'faster', all else being equal.
