Windows 10 64bit
Asus Z170 Pro gaming/Aura
16 GB Ram
Zotac GTX 1070 ti
Intel i5 6600K
Cooler master b700 Ver 2 700w

First I was playing an intensive game then my computer restarts, then tried to run the game and restarted again. Tried to run a low requirement game like dota 2 and still restarts. Tried to monitor temp while playing dota 2, temps was fine CPU temp is around 40c to 57c when playing dota 2 and GPU temp was around 60c then computer shuts down, did not reboot, tried to turn on but no lights on the MB as my asus Aura MB has rgb lights but no lights and fan not working, its like there is no power. Turned of the AVR then left it for 15 minutes. Turned on the AVR then lights started to turn on the MB then turned on the cpu and it works again. Have not tried to play any game at the moment because I am also using my computer for work. Computer does not restart only when using for work.

No, I dont hear any fans at all, fan from PSU is not working. its like the entire computer is not getting any electricity and sometimes I get electrical shock on the back of the computer. PSU is not that really hot, have not cleaned the PSU before.

When you say you get an electrical shock on the back of the computer, do you mean short click, like static electricity, or a continuous shock that does not stop?

Its not static I believe its grounded because I get a continues light electrical shock. At this point I my primary suspect is the PSU, second could be the AVR because originally my monitor and cpu is plugged on my AVR, now I plugged the monitor to an outlet leaving only my computer power cord plugged on the AVR and I am playing an intensive game and my computer did not died on me, I am not sure because it is night here now which is a little cooler. gonna try playing at lunch time which the temp here will be hotter and my last suspect is the MB.

You PC may not need an AVR, the power supply has overvoltage protection built in.

Cooler Master B700 ver.2 - Full protection ( OCP/OVP/SCP/OPP ) with build-in Over Temperature Protection ( OTP )

OCP (Overcurrent protection)
- If the load on a single line is higher than indicated, the PSU automatically switches off.
OVP (Overvoltage protection)
- If the voltages increase above a certain tolerance value on the single lines, the PSU automatically switches off.
SCP (Short-circuit protection)
- In the case of a short-circuit this feature prevents damage to the core components of the PSU and its system components.
OPP (Overload protection)
- If the system is oversized and requires more power from the PSU than it can perform, this protection function is activated.

I think its the PSU, because I tried to plug it on the wall outlet then switch on the PSU on the back of the computer, lights starts to turn on and when I was going to power the cpu on it immediately turns off the CPU like before no lights no fan, then plugged the cpu power cord back to the AVR and still leaving the Monitor plugged to the wall outlet, it works. Tried to play a game on for probably around 30 minutes and still working fine. I think its the PSU that is faulty.
