I've been having trouble with my internet the past 2 days with disconnects and increases in ping EXACTLY every 30 minutes(1.15, 1.45, 2.15, 2.45 and so on to be exact). I've searched online for solutions but most of the people who seem to be having the same trouble seem to be due to the DHCP lease time. That cannot be true for my issue because mine is set to renew every 24 hours. The lag and disconnect happens to all the devices connected to my network whether it be connected through Wi-Fi or with a cable.
I have not recently changed anything with my modem settings or added new devices to the network, it looks like it just started happening randomly a couple days ago. I could just call up my ISP and ask for help, but since it is the weekend I thought I'd ask here and see if I could fix the problem myself. Thanks.
