Hi everyone,
I have a rather interesting issue that correlates to a couple of issues I found here but none explains it.
So, I am currently running this configuration:
Gigabyte AX370 Gaming k5
AMD Ryzen 5 1600x
Here is the catch, this pc works if one slot is populated with Kingston Hyper X fury 8GB cl14 2400 MHz ram, and another slot with G-skill Trident Z 3000 MHz cl15 8GB.
If I try to boot the system with Gskill RAM only, no POST, CPU status LED is lit up.
As soon as I add Kingston's RAM it boots up but memories default to 2133 MHZ and anything I change in BIOS seems not to affect them, and system reserved memory in Win states that 6.95 GB is free.
I tried a lot of things, with Kingston I managed to get 2400 MHz with no issues, but gskill gives me headache.
Any ideas? Thanks!
