I have some spare cash an i want to upgrade my system for better performance, my pc is fine on the regular but suffers a bit while streaming, I run single channel ram (1x16 1200mhz) i heard upgrading it will let my pc work a lot more smoothly, is it worth the 300$? (2x8 3200mhz)

and if not, what is the best of going with this? i have about a 1000$ budget.

System:

GPU: MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X 8GB
CPU: I7-6700k
Cooler: Corsair H100i V2
Motherboard: ASUS Z170 PRO GAMING
RAM: HyperX Fury 1x16 2400mhz
PSU: Corsair CX750M
SSD: 500GB EVO L3

The main issue here is the cpu. You can ofcourse just use your gpu for streaming and that should fix your issue.
If you really want to use your cpu for streaming (better quality) then you'll have to upgrade. A 7700k won't cut it so you'll have to step it up the either a 8700 or ryzen 2600 to start streaming smoothly. Which is quite the cost.
