Hey guys i upgraded a 4 more gb ram and now its 8 gb , ok everything works fine with all games , so again i went to computer properties it says 8 gb ( usable 3.93 gb ) i didnt recognize this one , but how come ? Why its just 3.93 gb ram usable , by the way i didnt upgraded my bios , i dont if this is the problem , hope you guys help thank you

If possible, remove the new RAM stick you added, and see what the usable amount it shows. If it's still 3.93-ish GB, then the RAM stick might be defective. If it shows much less than 3.93 GB, then it means that the RAM is working fine, the 3.93 GB usable probably means that 3.93 GB is free for applications to use, and rest has been allotted for certain tasks by the system(which is a completely normal thing).

Just remove the new stick and tell us what the usable amount is after that.

Were you running a bunch of background junk while you were looking at that? Task manager might tell you why. Are there any background programs running unnoticed by you? That might be it. I think there's a bunch of junk running in the background that you don't notice.

Sorry for late replays , actually i remove the ram and stick it again , and same result , ok well i play battlefield one on ultra with no stuttering , gta 5 , assassin creed unity , and thats fine , but i dont know why is that 3.93 usable shown , is it a big deal? Btw battlefield one is very playable , but sometimes and its rare to be happen its stuttering just for second and than i play normal , i think its normal , in task manager , its say 1.2gb memory performance i dont know actually , and my spec

Xeon 3460
Gtx 1050 ti oc edition
Thermaltake litepower 550w
8 gb ram ( i guess )

Take out the new RAM stick, and start up your system. Then look at what the usable RAM is.

Insert the new stick again, and check the usable amount again. If it stays close to 4 GB, you might have a defective RAM stick, or a defective RAM slot.

That could be a solution to your problem. do exactly as 4745454b said, and maybe it'll work. If it works give him credit for it not me.

Also, if the above solution doesn't work, try running memtest86. Use method 2 on this page:

What you mentioned guys before that maybe the ram stick is defective , it is !!!
I bought an 4 gb ram 1333mhz , my 2x2x2x gb ( 6 gb ) was fine , now i put the 4 gb ram and now its 10 gb , so i went to my computer properties and it showed ( 10 gb (3.39 usable ) still the same thing , i tried to change the stick on another slots , it opens but keeps restarting and a blue screen pop up , i remove a 1 stick 2 gb to see if a slot could be broken , and same thing restart , ive never had a bad luck like this ! Guys this is the final question ! What should i do ?

The only thing that is happening is that your different RAM sticks are not running well with each other. While your RAM is compatible with the system, the three 2 GB sticks are not compatible with the 4 GB stick. You can't mix and match any kind of RAM and expect it to work perfectly. All you can do is either stick to 6 GB or sell all your RAM and get one, proper kit of RAM, because they are tested and guaranteed to work with each other well.
