I recently assembled my new PC and it booted up and ran fine with my old drives, but it was sluggish without the ssd as my boot drive so i got the 960 evo. After plugging it into my m2_1 slot on my Asus z370-e gaming mobo, it showed up in my device manager so i assumed it was ready to reformat and set as my boot with a fresh windows install. After going back into the bios, the only way i could tell it was plugged in was through the "intel rapid storage technology" tab in advanced options.
My current goal is to get it initialized and ready to be cloned. I've updated my bios as well as set my m2 to pcie.
Any feedback would be appreciated!
