weird keyboard bug

my spacebar has been acting weird recently, when ever i type a sentense everytime i hit space bar it hops to the start of the sentense.
sometimes it deletes characters, and sometimes it scrolls up. its not my keyboard itself tho, i hooked up another keyboard and had the same issue.
i reset all of the keyboard settings, that doesnt work either. help

keyboard layout is chosen in :

control panel---language

Under that (options) there is a keyboard option for "US layout", which you want selected, assuming a US keyboard, etc....

i dont know what you mean by that? i have my keyboard with a usb cable. but i dont understand what you mean with BIOS/OS settings. how do i change them?

some keyboards act strange when you plug its USB into a USB 3.0 port. So, try plugging it into a USB 2.0 port. USB 3.0 port will have a plastic part thats blue in color. Where as the USB 2.0 port is black.

Also, do a simple google search on whatever version of windows you have and keyboard key map layout. as far as going into bios, after you turn on your computer usually you push F2 key to get into BIOS.
