is there a way to turn off the wifi signal on a modem? the reason why i'm asking is because i only want my modem to get the internet signal from my isp then send it to my router which i want to be the only place that shoots out the wifi signal

Every modem/router I've ever seen or used has the ability to turn WiFi off.

What is the make/model of yours, and we can discover the user manual with instructions on how to do it.

i think its a hitron modem, but now that you've reminded me i can look for the manual online
